“I am a 3rd-year grad worker in DMSE and have been a union organizer for over 2 years. I served as my department’s elected representative on both the Bargaining Committee and the Constitution Committee. I led department organizing in DMSE in collaboration with fellow union organizers and engaged in hundreds of one-on-one conversations with fellow workers. I am running for President on the BOLD slate because I am committed to building a strong and fighting union based on mass democratic participation. I am excited to develop a vibrant network of engaged union members across every lab to ensure that our new contract rights are respected and to fight collectively for affordable housing, CPT/OPT for international workers, fellows inclusion in our bargaining unit, and more. With a leadership united around this vision, we can continue to raise the bar for ourselves and graduate workers across the country.”
