“I am a grad worker in EECS doing communications research on CubeSats and I’ve been a union organizer since the YES vote campaign. I helped organize members of the MEng program for our union recognition vote and ever since have been fighting to make MIT a better place for my whole MIT community. I’ve since been an interim steward in EECS supporting fellow grad workers in enforcing our contract rights. I concurrently represented EECS grad workers as a constitutional committee member ensuring our union has a strong foundation to operate on for years to come. As an international grad worker, I want to also keep fighting for our rights, especially around topics of OPT and CPT. I am now running for Area Chief Steward in the School of Engineering on the BOLD slate because I want to ensure that our union is led by a clear and united vision that allows us to enforce our contract and ensure the many semesters of hard work by all of us is delivered on.”
