“I’m a 3rd year grad worker and fellow in Physics and have been a union organizer since spring 2022. Over the past year and a half as a Department Organizer, I managed a team of organizers to have conversations with our coworkers and mobilize grad workers to participate in mass actions that ultimately resulted in our contract victory. I am running for Area Chief Steward in the School of Science to help build a dense, democratic steward network so that members feel empowered to collectively address workplace issues through our union. Together with the rest of the BOLD slate, I’m excited to work towards a better MIT by robustly enforcing our contract and leading issue campaigns that set the stage for our next contract fight in 2026.”
